Originally built in 1720 and later extended in the 1840s, this Georgian manor house offered a rare opportunity to thoughtfully reimagine a home of true heritage. A significant part of the brief focused on reworking the internal layout to better support modern family life, reshaping how the house is lived in and creating a more natural flow between spaces.
The design approach was to create an interior that feels effortless, characterful and enduring. Original architectural details were carefully retained and reinstated, then layered with a considered and playful mix of new finishes to create a rich, lived-in backdrop. The result is a warm and welcoming home, balancing bespoke, vintage and existing pieces.
